At Heba, you can volunteer in any of our activities:

Main office
Our front office is entirely staffed by volunteers, serving customers face to face or by phone and enrolling new learners. In this role, you are the connection between learners, staff and customers. Practice your computing skills in Excel, Word, email and social media.

Sewing room (link to Training/Sewing)
Our Design for Enterprise programme provides you with the opportunity to participate in developing and selling a brand. Assist the professional production team at Heba designing and making our Heba@BrickLane range of womenswear for sale in Spitalfields Market.

English language classroom
Try your hand as a teaching assistant, helping with the smooth-running of activities, or offering extra support to individual women. If you are a qualified or trainee teacher see our Teacher Training page for information on placements.

Nursery
If you are studying for a level 2 or 3 childcare qualification, we offer placements in our nursery. Placements are popular because of the quality and friendliness of staff and the intimate nature of the nursery (max 10 children) so unfortunately we are not able to accommodate every applicant.
